Buying a Condo; knowing the rules

If you want to rent a condo in Florida it is suggested that you do some research!

Before you buy a condo; if you are hoping to rent it out when you are not using it; be careful.

When you rent in Florida you will be required to collect and send in rental sales taxes on all rentals that are for less than six months.

Every condo belongs to a Home Owners Association or Condominium Association. The owners and Board of Directors set rules for renting and they seldom favor the condo owner. If you think that you can break the rules; think again, the Board has a duty to enforce the rules and they will take legal action without blinking an eye.

Owners that do not rent do not like strangers moving in and out.

One more thing is that you need to protect yourself in the event of anyone getting injured on your property.
